The PILOT OUTDOORS® 50/80 features a patented separate ice compartment and ALWAYS DRY™ storage system. Unlike traditional coolers, ice stays isolated in its own dedicated cavity, while a separate dry chamber protects your food, electronics, and gear from melting ice water.

The expandable design converts from 52.84 qt to 84.54 qt in under 30 seconds, giving you two cooler sizes in one. Use the smaller configuration when you want to travel light, then expand the cooler when you need additional space.

The PILOT OUTDOORS® 50/80 is built for long trips with thick, pressure-injected and chemically expanded polyurethane foam insulation. The cooler has over 3 inches of insulation in the walls and lid and nearly 4 inches in the bottom.

Its insulation works with the Ice Trap Triple Refrigeration Style Gaskets, using three custom-designed, one-piece refrigeration-style gaskets to help prevent thermal leaks.

When used according to manufacturer guidelines, the cooler provides up to 18 days of ice retention.
